Hexcrawl'25
I'm participating in Hexcrawl'25 this year. I'm approaching it a little different than the suggested progress plan, but with the same overall goal. I'm starting by filling out the large regional hexes with terrain and various points of interest. Once those are finished, I'll flesh out each of point of interest and even add a little detail on the local hexes which don't have points of interest.
I'm working on the project for about 30 - 45 minutes everyday, except for Saturday. Because of the plentiful extra days built into the schedule to complete the challenge, I chose to take Saturday off to both prevent myself from getting burned out on it as well as to make some time for other projects, like my D&D 5e campaign that resumes this week.
I should have all the regional hexes completed next week. Once I have, I'll make a post discussing the setting and region I'm developing for the year. I'll also post an image of the map. Subsequent posts will comes as I finish fleshing out each of the regional hexes.
That's about all for today. I still have some prep to do for Shadows in Moonlight tomorrow. If all goes according to plan, I'll have a post up Saturday on the session itself. After such a long hiatus, I expect some growing pains but it'll be good to have the game going again.
